• RuPay Cards are enabled for UPI payments. You can easily link your RuPay Credit Card with various payment apps and use it to transact though UPI.
• To register for UPI, you need to set up your Credit Card PIN. Just dial 1860 266 0333.
• Here is how you can link RuPay Card with UPI:
• Download and open your preferred UPI-enabled app, such as PayZapp.
• Register your HDFC Bank UPI RuPay Credit Card within the app.
• Once registered, you can start making UPI payments using your Credit Card.

Existing PayZapp Users

Follow these simple steps to link your RuPay Card with UPI:

• Choose 'RuPay Credit Card' and then select your Credit Card issuer to seamlessly link your RuPay Credit Card.
• Select 'UPI Accounts' and click on the '+ Add new' option.
• Log in to your PayZapp account and navigate to the 'Accounts & Cards' section.

New PayZapp Users

Follow the provided steps to get started with PayZapp and start using your RuPay Card for UPI payments.

• Download the PayZapp app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
• Complete the PayZapp registration process.
• Head to ‘Accounts & Cards’ section and select '+ Add New’ option.
• Select ‘RuPay Credit Card' to set up your UPI.
• Choose the 'HDFC Bank Credit Card' to conveniently fetch and link your HDFC Bank RuPay Credit card. 

Set up your UPI PIN, by following these steps: 

• Navigate to the PayZapp Home screen.
• Select 'Accounts & Cards,' then 'UPI Accounts.'
• Click on the 'Credit Cards' tab.
• Enter the last 6 digits of your card and its expiry date.
• Enter the One-Time Password (OTP).
• Enter your Credit Card PIN.
• Follow the prompts to set your UPI PIN. 

Making UPI payments with HDFC Bank RuPay Credit Card 

• Launch your preferred UPI payment app such as PayZapp.
• Scan the UPI QR (Quick Response) code of the merchant or enter their details.
• Input the desired amount and choose your linked RuPay Credit Card.
• For enhanced convenience, opt for your HDFC Bank RuPay Credit Card account.
• Enter your UPI PIN to complete the payment.
• Get the payment confirmation receipt.

• Only person to merchant (P2M) transactions are allowed when you use your RuPay Credit Card for UPI transactions:
• Online & Offline Shopping:
  You can make payments at online and offline retail stores, supermarkets, shopping malls, e-commerce websites.
• Utilities:
  Pay for services like electricity, gas, water, internet, etc., via UPI, using your RuPay Credit Card.
• Food Deliveries & Dining Out:
  You can pay food establishments or food delivery platforms for their services via UPI.
• Subscription Services:
  You can pay for multiple subscription services via UPI linked to your RuPay Credit Cards. Plus, you can also set up automatic payments for recurring transactions.
• Travel Bookings:
  Whether train, flight, bus, travel packages or more, you can make your travel-related bookings via UPI.
• QR Code Payments:
  You can scan merchant QR codes and pay using UPI linked to your RuPay Credit Card. The transaction amount will be deducted from your RuPay Credit Card’s credit limit and billed to you in the subsequent Credit Card statement.
• Note: Peer-to-peer (P2P), peer-to-peer merchant (P2M), cash withdrawal at ATMs or merchants, Mutual Funds payments, foreign inward remittances, payments on lending platforms, initial public offering (IPO) subscription and other such payments are not permitted on the UPI linked to the RuPay Credit Card.

  You can conveniently use your RuPay Credit Card for UPI transactions to pay bills, including utility bills, mobile recharge, and more.

  By using your RuPay Credit Card for UPI payments, you can enjoy the convenience of UPI payments and earn rewards, such as cashback, reward points, or discounts.
• Credit Card Benefits
  UPI transactions made through your RuPay Credit Card enable you to enjoy card benefits, such as interest-free credit periods, lounge access and insurance coverage, depending on your card type.

• A RuPay Credit Card operates seamlessly with a Chip+PIN technology. With the Credit Cards, you can pay for goods and services based on your promise to pay the bank for the utilised amount along with other charges. You can use the card for online purchases, shopping at POS, purchases on EMI and cash withdrawal from ATMs.

• RuPay Credit Cards are widely accepted in India for Point of Sale (PoS) transactions, ATM withdrawals, and e-commerce purchases. They can also be used for international transaction at PoS terminals, ATMs, and e-commerce websites that are enabled for Discover Financial Service (DFS).
